First Aid at Work
This three-day course is for people who may need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. It includes training on specific injuries and illnesses that may have been identified in your first aid needs assessment.

Covers
The course is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive for high hazard environments where you are required to have a first aider on site. This is a comprehensive course including;
Day One
- Bleeding (minor)
- Bleeding (severe)
- Burns
- Casualty movement
- Choking (Adult)
- CPR - Adult
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Fainting
- Primary Survey
Day Two
- Seizures
- Shock
- Unconscious casualty
- Allergic reaction
- Asthma
- Bone, muscle and joint injury
- Chest pains (including heart attack)
Day Three
- Eye injuries
- Head injuries
- Low blood sugar

The First Aid at Work course is 3 days and covers a wide range of interesting topics enabling you to become knowledgeable and confident to deal with any first aid incident.
*Practical and written assessment will be carried out at the end of this course
